Trail is a Top-Down, Short horror game made for the 7 Days of Summer Horror game jam, and was made in roughly 7 days, using Godot.

Theres are currently 4 endings to be found and acquired in Trail, the nature of which is a secret, so some exploring is to be had.

Game contains Gore, and slight Triptophobia.

Feel free to comment on any bugs, or suggestions for the game as i will be happy to try fix them.

-UPDATE-

Think I fixed the movement issue with the character, weird stuff with script sourcing. But should all work now.

No key makes the character move :( He's stuck in place

Hi, I just tried updating the game with different key inputs, I don't know if its the game engine being buggy but you can try again and see if it works now

Nope, he still doesn't move ðŸ˜¢ I don't know if the light/character is supposed to follow the mouse but if it does, it doesn't work either. I tried downloading the game to see if, maybe, it was a problem with the web version but I have an error message when I try to open the .exe file (Error: Couldn't load project data at path ".". Is the .pck file missing ?)
It really sucks because I really want to play your game ! It reminds me a lot of Darkwood which is one of my favorite video games ever and I'm sure I'll love yours

Damn, was hoping that worked :(, I don't know what could be messing this up, but it might be a problem with the game's engine, Godot. It has weird exporting issues when working on Mac (which I'm on), so when I try run it it doesn't show up on browser, meaning its hard for me to diagnose the issue or figure out what's going wrong. I'll test some things to see if they work, but I honestly don't know what could be wrong

Hey! So I ended up trying to fix the game one last time and I think I did. Somehow it was using code for the player that wasnt in the games file? so when I exported it the player didnt have any code, explaining why it wouldnt move or respond at all.

VERY weird, dont know why, but even with that fixed it feels laggy and stuff on my end. So im glad I fixed it but ill leave it at this lol :)

movement doesn't work

Does using the arrow keys work? Other than that it might be an issue with Godot, the game's engine.
